What Can You Make With Empty Wooden Cheese Containers
..I use them for my painting projects, to hold paint, and you could also use them for starting seeds, as pointed out...and a herb garden. :)

Great for storing most anything! Acetone removes the print.
I use them all the time, for putting cookies, or leftovers to take to the family, or neighbors, work great, or craft projects. I haven't tried taking off the print..thanks, Is that fingernail polish remover, acetone?

@Carolyn Hoxton yes acetone is nail polish remover
-
@Lulu Dubin Also the remover from PVC pipes is acetone. It is REALLY good at removing nail polish. Way quicker but harder on the hands. But you need way less.
-
@Marci N why are we talking about nails?
-
Nail polish is what she used to take the printing off, the stuff that you use to work with PVC works even better and faster than nail polish remover.
Car candy dish? Like the ones in every car we have? ;)
Great place to hide your jewlery
Can also use to store screws, nails, buttons, extra change, crayons, hair ties, barrettes, balls of string with a hole in the center, cotton balls
you could remove label, then paint or put transfers on, turn them upside down and string clear Christmas lights through them to make "custom" patio lights.
paint an put hole in bottom plant seed to get started
I save those and yogurt containers the same size. I use them for take home food containers when we have big family dinners. They're great for storing leftovers too.
Planted flowers and give them as gifts
I put one under my kitchen sink to collect grease drippings that I need to discard. Then throw it in the trash on trash pick up day and replace it with another empty one.

I do the same thing. I'm a fanatic about grease not going down my kitchen drain. After putting the drippings in the container, I always wipe out the greasy pan with a paper towel and stuff that into the container with the drippings. I also use coffee creamer containers and coffee cans for the same purpose.

decorate and start your plants in them....
Spray paint the color of your choice and screw them (through the bottom) to a board about the width of the bottom, mount the board at an angle on a closet wall and use them to store gloves, ear muffs, etc. You could also do the same thing to corral tennis and golf balls.
I recycle the lids to serve as cat food plates for canned food. The princess won't eat out of anything with high sides. I toss them in the dishwasher and always have clean ones for the whole gang. The bottoms are great to use at the potting table or for sand box toys.
I use the smaller round containers for water for my dogs. Their ears stay on the outside of the container while they're drinking. The lids are used for their dry food…they have short snouts so they prefer the flat surfaces.

OMG Susan - what a great idea! I have basset hounds.... so the ear problem is ongoing and MESSY! I love the idea of using these for water or food for my hounds - no more dripping or gooey ears! : )

(1) I use them for leftovers, especially gravies - they take up less "floor space" in the frig than rectangle Tupperwear. (2) My husband uses one every day for his morning breakfast yogurt/fruit mixture and takes it to work. (3) On holidays, I use them to send my guests home with leftovers.
Hi . I see this was posted in 2015. If you still are looking to repurpose these I will buy them from you for a project. Thanks
