I chatted with alibaba support, 1 agent gave me the appeal page merely the entreatment page requires yous to select the card beingness appealed (of which there are none on file b/c the menu is simply saved to file after you apply it 1 time).

I was merely reading something interesting in relation to my banks cc utilize overseas.

It declined on me a couple times. And so Amy said utilize the appeal which no card showed upwardly. I uploaded I.D. and carte du jour and the next twenty-four hour period it was approved. And that was on a weekend.

So on the Entreatment page when you uploaded your carte and ID, wasn't the <submit> button grayed out?
Mine is grayed out since in that location is nothing to select on the showtime field "1. Cull the menu for appeal" when yous click it says "no options". So the course is waiting for that to be selected to ungray the <submit> button.

Aye it's a one-act of errors, I called the bank yesterday got through the calculator then just waited and waited then asunder lol.
The Alibaba rep emailed me it'south not my credit card failing me it's the Alibaba organization marked this order as not assuasive any credit cards?
That I must utilize another payment selection. It makes some sense that it'due south the Alibaba side since my card never sent an OTP code (usually they text me a code if there is some question). I would suggest you try out making payment multiple times and use different cards until yous meet that "entreatment" thing. My first ii payment trials were declined and I did non meet the "appeal" push. Later tertiary try, I appeared. And magically, my first two cards were also saved. Kind of foreign.
OK that's useful. I've tried nearly 7 times (merely have i card that can handle the number of cells I'm buying). I never saw the entreatment page as function of the transaction; just when an Alibaba rep gave me the page later on I pushed for it.

I empathize you only accept this one card that has enough credit to encompass the whole club. Merely information technology never hurts to try different cards. In my case, once I got that "entreatment" button and clicked it, I can encounter all my previous cards (two declined cards without "appeal" button + one declined with entreatment button) merely showed up in the drop-downward menu. I would recommend yous practise the aforementioned. Possibly our Platinum card will appear magically subsequently y'all get that "entreatment" push. Then your can upload your ID and pic of your platinum menu to entreatment that card. But a proposition.
And BTW, yous can marking out sensitive info on our ID, like your DOB and some other info. I believe Alibaba simply need your name and your address to be matching with the info for your society. At least it is like this in my case. I know giving out names and addresses is still a concern to some. But it'due south better than sending the entire ID image out.
Ah got it. Thanks. I wish I had known that about marker out sensitive data. Ironically, the address on the DL is dissimilar since I moved since and so.

Some other thought.
I'yard shipping to my reshipper in China. And so the address that comes up by default in the payment page is in Chinese (the accost I gave the seller to ship to). I delete information technology and enter the address associated with the card here in the Philippines. Does anyone think this could be flubbing things upwards?
Possibly I should enquire the seller to draw upwards some other buy but listing my habitation address on it, brand the payment, so he tin modify to the Chinese address?

I'm an American only I'g in the Philippines. the Philippine gov't is quite friendly with People's republic of china, so that shouldn't be an issue. The credit bill of fare is also Filipino and I have non identified myself as American.
